Following the FundEX and Investia merger on July 1, 2022, we have been receiving a number of client cheques made payable to FundEX. As such, please take note of the following considerations:

• To avoid any delays in payment, we ask that you please instruct your clients to make all their cheques payable to Investia Financial Services Inc. going forward.
• Cheques made out to “FundEX Investments Inc.” will automatically be rejected, as we cannot legally use the incorporation designation “Inc.” since the merger.
• While cheques made payable to FundEX Investments (without the “Inc.”) will not automatically be rejected, they could still be rejected or subject to scrutiny by the banking institution, which would delay processing.

Alternatives to cheques
As the industry is gradually moving away from paper cheques, we remind you that we offer safer and timelier alternatives to clients at Investia:

• Electronic funds transfer (online bill payment):
