Risk Rating Change – CIBC

Please be advised that effective June 20, 2023, the risk rating of the following fund was increased by CIBC (CIB):

  • CIBC Nasdaq Index: changing from “Medium” to “Medium to High.”

This change has been reflected on the Fund Fact document available on Univeris. The risk rating change at the product level will be updated in Univeris as of Friday, July 7, 2023.

As a reminder, Representatives are expected to review impacted products in their clients’ portfolios upon a risk rating change and re-complete their KYP due diligence process as a risk rating change constitutes a material change to the product. Representatives are also expected to work to resolve suitability concerns within a 3-month period. For a list of your impacted clients, please reach out to your Compliance Officer once the changes have been made in Univeris.
