New Courses Available on Estate Settlement

This new course is designed to deepen your knowledge of estate settlement in the event of the death of an Investia asset holder. We believe it will familiarize you with the procedure to follow and the documents to provide when settling an estate, which should simplify and speed up their processing. Also designed to meet a need for professional development and continuing education, this course is optional.

Because of the differences between Quebec and the other provinces, particularly with respect to the beneficiary designations and the probate process, a version adapted to the province of Quebec is also available:

Estate Settlement (All provinces except Quebec)

Estate Settlement (Quebec only)

Continuing education (CE) credits offered

If you take one of these courses in its entirety and obtain a passing grade on the quiz, which represents approximately one (1) hour, you will earn the following continuing education (CE) credits:

  • CSF: one (1) in Compliance (CO);
  • CIRO: one (1) in Business Conduct;
  • Advocis: one (1) in Ethics (not available for the version adapted for Quebec);
  • IQPF: one (1) in Compliance with Standards, Ethics and Business Conduct (SC).

When you complete a course on Investia Learning or view a presentation there, you must generate your certificate by following the procedure available in the Documentation Centre.
