Quishing is the new phishing!
A little-known recent attack uses QR codes in conjunction with phishing: Quishing. Beware, these codes hide traps!
QR codes hide URL links, so the best thing to do is:
- Always check the sender's email address carefully.
- Always analyze the context.
- Never scan QR codes from strangers unless you're 100% sure they're legitimate!
- Never open unexpected attachments.
