These ten backgrounds can also be found on the Investia Advisor Centre under the Marketing / Practice Management section.

Procedure to add a background in MS Teams 

• First, save the background on your desktop or in one of your folders
• Start a video call or a meeting in Teams
• Click on the 3 horizontal dots at the top (“More actions” menu)
• Click on “Apply background effects” to display the settings
• Click on “+ Add new” and select the background you would like to use from your computer
• Select “Preview” to see the result, and then on “Apply” to enable the background
• That’s it, you’re done!

Green screen

Note that when using any virtual background, a shadowy effect around the edges of the silhouette of the person on screen can become apparent. For optimal results, we recommend the use of a green screen when you use a virtual background on a videoconferencing platform.
