THE 360 NEWSLETTER
To formerly FundEX Representatives only
Over the past few months, the merge team has been working with fund companies and intermediaries to ensure your transition to the Investia dealer code and changes to your rep codes are managed as seamlessly as possible. As a reminder:
- FundEX Dealer Code 7648 will change to Investia Dealer code 7599;
- Investia Dealer Code 3427 will change to Investia Dealer code 3025;
- All 3-digit and 4-digit rep codes will have an “F” added at the end;
- No changes are being made to 5-digit rep codes.
Many fund companies and intermediaries partnered with us to make changes in alignment with our data migration activities which took place over the weekend of June 17. However, some companies have shared that due to system limitations on their end, they are not able to process all changes as requested.
The table below summarizes the top companies we are working with and the feedback they have shared:
Call to Action: Review the table and if applicable, reach out to your clients to explain why they may see a trade confirm or a transfer in/transfer out. Please also take note of where you may be required to re-enroll in a fund company or intermediary website.
For fund companies supported by IFDS, CIBC and RBC, please refer to the attached file.
B2B Bank
Loans: Applications that are in pending status will not be transferred after the merge. Please do not submit any loan applications Monday, June 13 onwards until merge activities are completed on Monday, June 20.
Website Access: If you currently use B2B’s websites (Access and Ease), you will be required to re-register under the 7599 dealer code. Once you receive your new rep code under 7599, B2B has requested that you contact their client services department at 1-800-263-8349. They will assist you with registering the new advisor access user ID and provide you with a temporary password over the phone.
Important: Advisors will need to use a new email address to register for the B2B websites under dealer code 7599 as their systems do not allow one email address to be linked to two dealer/rep codes. B2B’s workaround solution for advisors who do not wish to register for a new website using a new email address is:
- Log into your 7648 account
- Remove your current email address from the profile
- Add in a secondary email address
- Note: It is good to keep the 7648 account using the secondary email address as you will not have access to your FundEX historical data under the Investia (7599) B2B accounts.
Once you have replaced the email address from your current profile, you can then go ahead and use your current email address to register for the Investia (7599) dealer account.
B2B has provided instructions that you can utilize to get yourself set up with the new account and keep your old account. Click here to view the step-by-step procedure. If you require any assistance, please call the B2B helpline at 1-800-263-8349.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
