Following the announcement made at the last Best Business Practices Roadshows, Investia is pleased to introduce its new Intermediary Transfer Program.

As explained during the roadshows, you can now take advantage of this program if you wish to transfer your clients’ intermediary accounts, including B2B accounts that are already under the Investia dealer code, to the Investia nominee account platform. Investia will offset the cost of the transfer out fee and the client will pay an additional fee over a period of 5 years.

This becomes very interesting when considering the savings your clients will make on trustee fees (i.e., annual administrative fees). For example, if the client holds 3 accounts at an intermediary, it is common to see charges up to $300 a year in trustee fees. As you know, the nominee account fee at Investia will be $100 in 2023, and this fee will become an annual Client Administrative Fee of $50 starting in 2024. After adding the $50 per account transferred each year for 5 years (i.e., the cost of participating in the program), this will translate into considerable savings for your clients.

Important Considerations

• Note that this is a limited-time offer. Your clients can take advantage of this program for transfers initiated before December 16, 2022 only.
• If you wish to take advantage of this program, please fax the transfer forms and Intermediary Transfer Program Form to 1-833-937-2236. Please do not upload forms via the Secure File Upload Tool on the Advisor Centre as this may generate a rejection from our Processing Team.
