To apply a background in MS Teams:

• Save the background on your desktop or in a folder
• Start a meeting in Teams
• Go to the top and select More actions (the three dots) / Video effects
• Click on Add new and select the background saved on your computer
• Select Apply

As a reminder, when using any virtual background, a shadowy effect around the edges of the silhouette of the person on screen can become apparent. For best results, you can use a green screen when you use a virtual background on a videoconferencing platform.
