Univeris Maintenance, New Fundserv Standards and Overview of Key Changes

Please be advised that we will be conducting system maintenance for Univeris on the weekend of June 7, 2024.  As a result, Univeris, as well as the Investia Advisor Centre, Client Portal and Mobile App will be unavailable, for viewing and trading purposes, from Friday, June 7, 2024, 9:00 p.m., to Sunday, June 9, 2024, 5:00 p.m. (ET).

Coinciding with the above, Fundserv will be unavailable from Friday, June 7, 2024, 4:00 p.m., to Sunday, June 9, 2024, 10:00 a.m. (ET) due to the implementation of v34. Consequently, Fundserv will reject all orders placed after 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

In preparation of this, please find below a summary providing an overview of some of the key changes you will notice in Univeris effective June 10, 2024.

Removal of Cheques for Client-Name Accounts
This initiative is intended to remove cheques that are payable to the fund company for individually settled trades in client-name accounts. As such, while processing a client-name purchase in Univeris, when you choose “Payable to Mgt. Co.” as the source of funds, you will no longer see the option of “Client Cheque Deposit” since Univeris has removed this option.

You will still have the ability to process a trade with a cheque payable to Investia. Alternatively, you can choose the electronic funds transfer (“EFT”) or one-time PAC option instead of a cheque payable to Investia.

Additionally, while processing a client-name redemption, the option to choose “Cheque” or “Client Payment – Dealer Address” will also be removed.

Our administrative procedures are in the process of being updated to reflect these changes.
