As you know, the new First Home Savings Account (FHSA) has been available in Univeris since June 12, 2023. We are now happy to inform you that in addition to the Fidelity application, the AGF application will be available in Univeris as of Monday, July 24.

Important reminders

• The FHSA plan type is available for client-name accounts only. FHSAs will not be available in nominee accounts by the end of the year, but we will make sure to keep you informed of any new developments in this regard.
• We would also like to remind you that the ability to name a successor holder for the FHSA plan is not available in the electronic Fundserv files, and therefore not incorporated in Univeris (not applicable for Quebec residents). This functionality should be available in a future release. For this reason, it is important to complete that information on the application itself and be sure to upload the document to imaging for archiving purposes. Should the fund company request this information as part of the new Electronic Processing Agreement (EPA), there will be a need to provide the required application upon request.
