As you may know, today, November 30, 2023, is the end of the current continuing education (CE) cycle and the last day on which completed activities can be reported for this cycle. As such, below you will find information and reminders regarding CE accreditation.

2023 National Business Conference
Certificates for this year’s conference have been emailed to participants this week. For a summary of credits granted for each presentation, click here to read the November 23, 2023 issue of The 360 Newsletter. If you have not received your certificates, please contact us by email at events@investia.ca.

Note that attendance at the eligible sessions was reported in participants’ CIRO CERTS records by Investia on November 2, 2023.

Quebec Representatives and Assistants
Following a recent announcement, the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), in cooperation with the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF), has agreed to an exchange of information for participants subject to both CIRO’s CE program and CSF’s CE program requirements. For more details, please refer to Bulletin 23-0180.

FP Canada
Further to requests received from Representatives, please note that Investia does not have its training courses accredited by FP Canada. Investia only oversees the accreditation process with CIRO, CSF, IQPF and Advocis. For other organizations, it is the responsibility of registered individuals to ensure that their continuing education credits are applicable to the regulatory and licensing bodies under which they are governed.
