*Note that the four guides will be added to the web page early next week.

New Turnkey Letter and Client Email

As a reminder, clients will be notified of these changes via an email communication which will be sent in the coming week (click here to see a sample).

Should you wish to communicate with your clients directly, you may use this customizable turnkey letter: Client Turnkey Letter – Client Portal MFA

About Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a 2-step validation process requiring the client to provide 2 types of information to confirm their identity. It provides an additional layer of security to the sign-in process to ensure it is really the client accessing their accounts, while reducing the risk of becoming a victim of identity theft, online frauds, and account hacking.

What Will Change?

  • After December 5, clients will be prompted to complete multi-factor authentication during their login process.
  • MFA will be accompanied with a refresh of the Investia Client Portal login page.
  • A redirection to a new Client Portal URL login page will occur seamlessly as the client attempts to access the Investia Client Portal using the old URL link.
  • If using a password manager or if they have saved their password within the browser, we advise that the client records their username and password information in preparation for their first login on or after December 5.
  • Note that this does not impact access through the Investia mobile app. MFA for the mobile app will be implemented in the next phase of the MFA project, timing for this will be provided in the near future.
