Why shouldn’t we use personal information in our passwords?
Personal information, such as your birthday, address, pet’s name, consecutive letters or numbers, a single word from the dictionary or a common phrase, are passwords that should not be used. They are far too easy to guess for cybercriminals and their technological tools.
Should you require additional information, please contact the iA Information Security Awareness team, by email at ISawareness@ia.ca.
