Interfund Switch Form and Signature Guarantee (Investia Nominee Accounts)
Best practices April 20, 2023As mentioned in the November 17, 2022 communication, when setting up an interfund switch for a client, it is no longer required to send the “Order Instruction Form – Interfund Switches – Investia Nominee Accounts (F51-325A-2)” to Investia for approval and signature as you can fax it directly to the fund company for processing. As a reminder, this form is used for systematic interfund switches within the same fund company and the same nominee account.
While it is no longer required to obtain Investia’s signature, several fund companies continue to require the Representative’s signature guarantee on this form. To avoid rejections, we therefore recommend that you always signature guarantee your interfund switch forms prior to sending them to fund companies.
Important Reminder
We are taking this opportunity to remind you that with the exception of interfund switches, requests to set up, change or stop a systematic transaction in an Investia nominee account should never be faxed to fund companies directly and must continue to be sent to Investia as per our normal processes.
