As many of you already know, the Electronic Processing Agreement (EPA) will come into effect on June 12, 2023.

What is the EPA?

It is a mutual agreement between fund companies and distributors (Representatives/Head Office), which will allow you to use Fundserv, via Univeris, to submit your transactions (for client-name accounts only), without having to send documents to the fund companies.

Investia’s Transaction Processing Grid (Appendix 1) has also been updated and will be available on the Advisor Centre under Guides and Training / Investia Training Manual in the coming days.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that if a transaction needs to be faxed to the fund company because it includes additional information (e.g., redemption with specific tax withholdings, etc.), the transaction must not be entered in Univeris but faxed to the fund company with the client’s signature (or LTA on file) and the guaranteed signature stamp.
